Does the end justify the means?

is the pursuit of knowledge always justified?

What were the methods?

What were the ends?

If the ends are not certain, the methods become unnecessary. But at the same time, when the methods have a possibility of bringing the necessary end, shouldn’t we risk it?

I suppose it all depends on what we are willing to risk. In Las Vegas, some people gamble all that they own in hopes of winning millions and some are more cautious and don’t gamble at all. But the people who truly win in gambling are the ones who know when it is good to risk certain things to achieve the greatest result. Therefore, the ends justify the means, or the pursuit of knowledge is justified only when all risks are considered and it is still deemed worthy to place your bet.

i am going to the Argonauts game tomorrow~! yay~!

i've never been to a game of any sport whatsoever so this should be so much fun~!

except that i didn't even know toronto had a football team just untill like 20min ago...

it's not like i'm totally oblivious to football or anything...(well i am but i at least know what it is~!)

but really, i thought football was within US only...i mean it's not like many Canadian schools have football teams or anything!

and i know the Argonauts practice at UTM and how could i have never known and i'm so stupid and so blind and all that~!

but whatever~! i'm going to their game and you're not. so :P to you all~!
